Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together.

Combine Wet Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, honey (or maple syrup), melted butter (or oil), and vanilla extract.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

  • Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined.

Heat the Pan:

  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.

Cook the Pancakes:

  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.

Serve:

  • Serve warm with desired toppings.
