Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted (or plant-based alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Nutella plus extra for serving
  • Optional: Fresh berries sliced bananas, or chopped nuts for topping

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dry Ingredients:

  • Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Mix the Wet Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add Nutella for a swirl effect.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

  • Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. The batter will be slightly lumpy.

Heat the Pan:

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease.

Cook the Pancakes:

  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, another 1-2 minutes.

Serve and Enjoy:
