- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or blueberries optional
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line or grease a muffin tin.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in optional mix-ins.
